What is the Recreation Program?
The Arc of Tempe Recreation Program provides for leisure and recreational needs of adults and teens with intellectual disabilities
What is the Focus of the Program?
The Recreation program focuses on four key areas: life skills, community involvement, self-advocacy and recreation.
What Type of Activities Do You Provide?
A variety of recreational programs are offered so everyone?s interests are met and members get a chance to experience new, challenging and fun activities. Some regularly scheduled activities include: crafts, dances, picnics, bowling, bingo, community outings, karaoke, and pool parties.
Who Can Attend?
Individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities who are 16 and older
How Much Does it Cost?
For only $40 a month individuals can enjoy full access to all of the activities that the Arc of Tempe offers.
