The Greatest Human Race 2008

The Greatest Human Race was a success.  Walkers, runners, and wheelers cruised around Kiwanis Park on Saturday, October 11 in hope of raising money for the Arc of Tempe.  Thanks to all of those people who came and donated their time and services at the Greatest Human Race.  The GHR was a success because of you and all those who donated to help the Arc.  If you still want to donate some money to the Arc, follow the link below.

Calendar Discount!!

December Recreation Fees
December's recreation fees have been reduced.  Because we are going to be closed this year from December 24th until January 6th the Fees will be $30 instead of the usual $40.  This change will only be for December 2008.  January's fee will again be $40.  If you have any questions please call Aaron, Ryan or Brenda. 

Bashas' Shop & Give

Are you ready for the easiest giving you'll ever do?
 It's Basha's Shop & Give time!
It's easy, just let the cashier know at checkout that you want to link your Basha's Thank You Card to The Arc of Tempe, and Basha's will give 1 percent of your purchases to The Arc. The Shop & Give program could earn The Arc as much as $5,000!
The program runs now through March 31, 2009. 
To be a part of Basha's Shop & Give, you simply tell the cashier our group id number,  27241, and viola! You'll be shopping and giving at the same time!
The Thank You card must be re-dedicated each year, so even if you participated last year, remember to let the cashier know you'd like to link it again now!
